Having dealt with the city cops in the town near me, I can easily believe the former.....;]
[but maybe we could ask him to post photos, just to be sure. were it me, I’d have no problems doing so]
Just read your page.
You’re one dog-savvy gal.
I grew up with Dobermans and spent *much* time obedience training them.
They loved it.
When they mastered *that*, I started in with silly stuff, like playing dead, jumping hurdles, giving alternate paws in increasingly rapid succession, “hide and seek”, soccer, etc etc etc.
When we weren’t playing, they had their “jobs” of guarding the yard.
Dobermans are so smart that they get bored and frustrated very easily.
I had quite a few rescues who had obsessively chewed their paws and legs or sucked their flanks out of sheer boredom.
Within 30 days, I made sure they were “gainfully employed”.
Best breed I ever owned.
[and here I am now with primitive, barely domesticated “jackals” who either can’t or won’t learn one single, lousy, simple thing...oh, how I look forward to having a Doberman again]...:))
