I always did like Koenig myself, probably the best of the main cast.
With everything being remade and imagined, I have pitched a few ideas in my head and sort of tried applying JMS's scriptwriting book to them.

Somebody on Chuck remebers Ronnie and apparently in a good way. He isn't made fun of.
I half imagine that the lady general was the one female on Fulcrum's high council. The typical traitor is necessary I guess.
Last week's ep with Chevy and Scott in it was really good.
Gotta love Big Mike and the losers at the Buy More as well as Awesome. Jeffster Rocks! - Awesome (Not Really)

It makes sense if Straker signed off on the evaluation.Yeah. It's a sure bet it wasn't Simmonds.

I think the writers of Chuck remember the 80s, in general, in a good way. Most of the cultural references are from the late 1970s and 1980s, which is a bit strange given that the character Chuck was probably born around 1980.

[i]I missed Primeval last Friday - whats it like? Whats it about? I did see clips from the new SG-Universe, and it looks pretty dark and dismal. Any thoughts on any of these?

Primeval was not that bad, not that good either. Watchable with potential to be good. Run of the mill Brit SCi-Fi.

Carter was the cool one and the guy to be like. I had almost forgotten about him. It has been a while since I have popped a disc in.

Dr. Bishop is a creepy freak show. One episode he says: “oops.” Astrid asks: “What happened?” Dr. Bishop says: “I just got an erection.” They lost me after that. It was a weak show, anyway.

It has a lot twists in it and takes a few episodes to get going.
The newest Dr. Who, Planet Of The Dead was on Youtube today and it was good watching. UNIT was involved. UNIT was one of my favorite elements in the old series with Lethbridge-Stewart and Benton. I look forward to the real airing. There was also a preview for the next special which also looked really good.

Things didn't work out too well for Commissioner Simmonds.

Things didn't work out too well for Commissioner Simmonds. That's for sure. I actually used that example to teach my son about patience years ago.

Carter was the cool one and the guy to be like.Yep. Koenig resembled and was close in age to my dad. But Carter was Chief Eagle pilot and fairly youthful.

I've been so busy I didn't realize it was over and was
hoping the last episode was just the season finale, not the series finale.... IMO the last episode was well done.
Glad to hear a movie is coming out. Any dates as to when?

Pretty good - Tapped into the Permian with a worm hole. Neat Gorgonopsid and mammal like reptile - no cheap dinosaur stuff.

So I watched 3 of the 5 hours of Kings that were on SciFi last week. I missed the two-hour pilot, which made it confusing later on. For one thing, it's filmed in NYC and I can recognize that fact, so it took a while to realize that it wasn't set in the US. A bit confusing.
Not bad, but then I'm wondering, if they needed to show it on SF to get an extra audience, it probably isn't doing too well on NBC. This kind of cross-promotion didn't help Christian Slater's last show.

Funny thing about Andromeda: I liked the pre-event horizon cast that all died off. I never really liked the regular cast. (Except Rommy, of course.)

Primeval: Attractive young British actors/actresses and dinosaurs (or other similar creatures, mostly from the past) and a couple time travel paradoxes. In terms of quality, it’s somewhat lacking, but it’s lots of fun to watch either way. Although, if you’ve got a phobia of spiders and such, I’d recommend that you avoid the second episode =P
Stargate Universe looks like it might be really interesting. And, although it looks ‘dark’, hopefully we’ll have characters who actually die and don’t keep on coming back... it was cool and unique the first time in SG-1, but by the time Atlantis was over, it was just like are you KIDDING? It also looks like it’ll be harder for the writers to use some of the more frequently recycled plots in the franchise (especially the hallucination/alternate reality one and the ‘oh we’re shutting you down’ one).

Oh, I’m hoping Dollhouse at least won’t be pulled before the end of the season... seeing how we’ve been promised an actual conclusion to the current story arc in the ‘last’ (12th) episode, I think the fans might kick up a little too big of a fuss for Fox to not run it a couple weeks longer (apparently, there are only 3 episodes left, and one after the finale that will end up on the DVD’s, and maybe Hulu), as opposed to Kings which isn’t even halfway through.
