My Brother started raising his own at home. $1.50 for the seeds, with a growing season of 42 days to maturity. Last year in Northern Michigan he raised more than 200 plants, and all it cost him was about $10.00 dollars and his time to maintain them.
That's interesting. I'm not a smoker, and don't like the smoke but I do like freedom...and I recalled a few years ago someone was giving out packets of tobacco seeds at the Maine LP convention, so with the recent hikes I thought, smokers can raise their own.
