No problem. You can move ammo anytime UNLESS it is by commercial means then you need permits etc.

If the ammo is boxed then you can put it anywhere in the vehicle, especially since you will not be carrying firearms. No gun to be loaded, no danger in the ammo. Not yet anyway!
