I am leaving Free Republic. After I post this message I will not come back and most likely ask the moderator to remove my account.
You may ask why. Today I posted a copy of a letter I received from an anti-terrorism officer in the United States Air Force. It was received through official channels but was not classified or top secret and I was granted permission to share it. It was an article concerning the possibility of a terrorist attack on American soil and it was pulled because, and I quote "Proven incorrect on snopes."
This is one time I am disagreeing with the moderator and his/her decision to pull the thread. This information was verified through official military channels and was supposed to help warn us to the imminent danger our country is in.
Instead, the moderator exercised, I felt, a lapse in judgment when he (or she) pulled the article that is in need of being disseminated. And this isn't the first time this has been done by moderators on Free Republic. While Free Republic has stood for conservative and GOP values it has also neglected it's responsibility to see that the information of the type I tried to share gets out. Instead they say it can't be verified and could be wild speculation (though I told them it was verified through official military channels) and pulled it even though I asked them not to.
So, I am saying goodbye. It was fun and I will treasure the friends I have made here on FR. Good luck to you all.
That's nothing. I've been writing mine since 1999 (a year after I joined FR.)
Mine's so long, it's going to take FR's server a solid week to delete it once an Admin Moderator here tries killing it.

Problem is that many people that live in America are not Americans. Even many that were born here. Many have turned into socialists. America can not survive rot from inside. Compared to 0bama in office the combined threat to America from Europe, Russia, Iran and Canada is nothing to 0bama.
