He's afraid of getting the boos that his veep received at a recent game. Also, I don't think baseball is his game. It is too American, and he might offend the Germans and the rest of Socialist Europe, the Muslims, Castro, Kim Jong-Mentally Ill, and Bill Ayrs.

Just paint a basketball white with red threads and he can 3 point shoot his pitch to the catcher.

Are there no cue cards or teleprompters to do it for him?

That fruity picture of him on the bike with the helmet was priceless. He looks clueless.

I think the reason behind the birth certificate secrecy has to do with uncertainties ...

before the game against the Philadelphia Phillies

Maybe he was afraid he might encounter the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Dead on.

I’ve seen 12 year olds more secure than this guy. He is compensating all the time.

He strikes me as being more of a catcher than a pitcher anyway...

John Kerry threw like a girl, too. Maybe it’s a Democrat thing...

Heck, I’m white and can’t play basketball worth a lick. And there have been oh so many great white players in the sport. Um, Larry Bird and Pete Marovich??? Thats about it.

Methinks since GWB had skill getting the ball over the plate that Zer0 is scared if he flubs the pitch it gives favorable comparison to Dubya! Can’t risk another ‘gutterball’ to deflate the aura!

> Two perfect examples are this pitch...he might not make a good pitch (probably won’t...so he won’t chance it) and the Gridiron Club dinner. Both were longstanding traditions he backed out of, and I think for no other reason than to preserve his narcissistic compulsion to be viewed as better than the average Joe.

And a third example would be the Medal of Honor Ball at the inauguration. All MoH recipients are, by definition, better men than Obama and he just couldn’t have that, not in “his” day, the Inauguration.
