My favorite strange at home treat is cottage cheese with maple syrup. It takes me back to when I was young, a special dinner, when Dad wasn't home was pancakes for supper. With that, for some reason, we always had cottage cheese as a side dish. When the syrup would overflow the pancakes it would spread into the cottage cheese, and I loved it.
At home you could try dribbling slightly melted PB over popcorn. It's fabulous, but tricky to do.
