Just as there are idiots who run red lights, these idiots know that if they are ticketed, they are less likely to try to run the light...

I disagree.

People who drive safely should not have to worry.

If you put such cameras and speed checking at only dangerous intersections, then it reduces traffic fatalities...

For example, if there have been 10 fatalities at one intersection over 10 years, then put it there...

It is quite common, from what I have heard, for people to get hit in a major city by people running lights.

Less likely in small towns...
