To me, golf is the most boring game - but, I am sure others would disagree.

Well golf is kind of boring, but there’s a kind of crap game fascination to it. Hockey is like none of the fans can do it and who is going to lose the most teeth.

Be even a more perfect game if they had a shot clock situation between pitches.

Up until very recently, hockey was unwatchable on TV because you couldn't see how a hockey play develops on a 4:3 aspect ratio NTSC-definition broadcasts. But with most regional sports networks, Versus and NBC now broadcasting NHL games in 16:9 aspect ratio 720p/1080i ATSC high-definition broadcasts, you can actually see how player position on the rink becomes extremely critical, and that has tremendously improvement the enjoyment of the game at home. (I've seen both Versus and NBC HDTV broadcasts of NHL games and you really enjoy the game much more).

"There are people who like hockey (personally, I think it is to see the fights)" Then they are going to be severely disappointed when they actually attend a game. There just aren't that many "fights". Two playes can be penalized for "fighting" without a punch being thrown. I saw a poll where people who don't watch hockey believed that fighting occurs about 4 times more often than it actuall does. They are influenced by ESPN highlights.

Pitchers should be allowed to fire in the ball on their own schedule, not waiting 10 minutes fro jerks like garciaparra and jeter to tighten their batting gloves 37 times like OCD freaks. They can eff with their batting gloves all they want as 3 strikes fly by.
A baseball game takes WAY too long.
