If she’d sponsored Jim Jones, I suppose she couldn’t have been blamed either, right?
It’s what happens when you put your name on something. You become accountable.
She put her name on Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama as well. She later disassociated herself from Wright but did not take Barack Obama to task for defending Wright.
She has marching Oprahbots who blindly buy whatever books she puts on her mailing list (my own city blindly buys 50 copies of the Oprah Book Club titles). They also sign on for whatever philosophy she turns to this week.
She holds herself up as a leader. She should be careful what she endorses.
