UFO mystery solved according to Area 51 workers
Examiner ^ | April 7, | Michael Salla, Ph.D.

Posted on 04/07/2009 8:01:57 AM PDT by JoeProBono

Five former military personnel have come forward to reveal that they worked at the secretive Area 51 testing facility. While stationed at Area 51 they claimed they worked on top secret CIA and military projects including a supersonic jet that could travel at three times the speed of sound. The appearance and flight performance of the top secret OXCART program led it to being often mistaken as a UFO according to the whistleblowers. A Los Angeles Times article with their testimonies concluded that the UFO mystery has been solved. Before celebrating the solution of the UFO mystery, it’s worth considering some information that the LA Times article did not.

The article says — “While stationed at Area 51...”

Now how could they have been stationed at a facility that did not exist (according to the government)... :-)

Not in my book.

Naysayer fantasies tend to

1. violate Occam’s razor wholesale.

2. virtually insure a TYPE II ERROR fairly routinely.

3. have little understanding or fitting appreciation, respect for piles of evidence well beyond the qualities of evidence that, in court, would convict a murderer to death.

4. be routinely wholesale unscientific and rife with seemingly willfully blind bias and wholesale ignorance.

I hope he doesn’t volunteer for an anal probe just

for

the thrill of it!

I gather that finesse isn’t in their vocabulary.

JoeProBono, very good!! Very, very good!

BTW: next time I answer a jjg's reply, I will do my best to put the response in single syllable sentences for her/him to comprehend. < snort >

Be careful. My old pal Jessup will get upset. You know, the yawn inducing "you talk so much about alien buggery, you must be a closet queer" will spew from him like a Krakatoa of drool.

Oh dear me, Dave. I’d almost forgotten to respond to your latest goofy post, the one where you again put up a postage stamped size image of nothing, and say the originals are in a safe place, blah blah blah ha ha ha.

How nice of you to tear yourself away from the TeeVee, by the way. I hope the delerium tremens won’t be too severe.

It's not so bad JoJo, the nurses digitally check our prostates every month, you get used to it.

Hey, we had strawberry ice cream today, I ate your share, lol

Now, JoJo,

That’s too beneath you. I mean, don’t even naysayers have SOME code of conduct?

You made all kinds of noise about the photos and the details. Eventually Las Vegas Dave helped you make a fool of yourself by all your ranting etc. etc. etc. about that photo.

Then he let you know that he personally took the photo and has the 35mm film results.

Now tell me . . .

IF the shoe was on the other foot . . .

would

YOU

turn such a film over to such a cantankerous, contrary, negative, slippery, bait-and-switch, nonsensical etc. sort of hostile opponent?

As a psychologist, I wouldn’t consider such a move overly sane.

It’s likely that Dave could give you whatever specs on the film and photo. He could even turn the film over to an independent expert.

However, I doubt it’s worth his bother. NO FACTS seem to have the slightest influence on your understanding or ability to deal more remotely charitably with the truth.

On that photo issue, I think you get a failing grade big time . . . well earned.

Stumbling along searching for something to read that doesn't have Obama or Congress in it, trying to cheer myself up a bit....stumbled onto this.

It would make a great....and fun Fly By some weekend, wouldn't it?

Lauren....that's Groom Lake, part of Nellis AFB, the infamous Area 51.

Wow, the well-known SR-71 was the cause of UFO sightings. Heh... At least we know where the credulity lies vis a vis the UFO controversy. :’)

The SR71 was fast—particularly compared to other planes.

Compared to UFO’s it was standing still.

And certainly the SR71 did NOT do right angle turns at extremely high [unattainable for even it] speeds.
