Paul and Ringo, Mike love, Donovan, Paul Horn, Eddie Vedder, and Howard Stern and Seinfeld.
After hearing McCartney “sing” last week on a concert in London made two years ago, it sounds like he should quit. His voice has really lost a lot. Too bad.
The Good Ones are Dead
They didn’t do “Sexy Sadie”?
Meditation? How about ‘medication’? Food?
Meditation? This got these two singing together again? ...
They don’t want to save lives when mother Gaia is being wounded by overpopulation :/
Ringo and Paul...and Jerry Seinfeld, etc., I have this to say to you:
Try praying daily. You will find this kind of meditation is all one needs.
Sounds cheezy.
You mean they turned down Lorne Michaels offer of $3000 to appear on Saturday Night Live?
Ahhh... Love the Rutles and all things Python.
Sexie Sadie was John’s song, and it was about the Maharishi, so...
You are joking right? Mike Love is an idiot. Moby, seinfeild and Sheryl Crowe are mega libs. Stern is a repulisive moron.
I have nothing against meditation. I think paul spends a lot of his meditation time with a bong. Ringo is a decent lad but George was the nicest Beatle followed by Ringo.
Eric Idle is a very unpleasant man. He sued Neil Innes (John or Stig in the rutles). Innes is a good guy.
Mike takes a lot of grief, and has gotten a lot of bad press over the years as a result of the never-ending Beach Boys legal traumas, but I've spent some time with him over the years and found to my surprise (because of all that bad press) that he is a very nice guy. Others' mileage may vary, of course, but that's been my impression, at least.
In any event, it's kinda cool a Beach Boy got invited to a semi-Beatles reunion!
I'm not endorsing anything or everything each of these folks has said or done.I think seeing Paul and Ringo having a great time together after all these years would have been fantastic. I think it's for a good cause, too (putting on flame retardent suit).
Oh too bad. I’m sad to hear that. Why did Idle sue him? Just give me a link if you have one.
What, no Eric Clapton?
With Lennon, Harrison and the 5th Beatle, Billy Preston, dead, thought they’d want to have the 6th Beatle on hand to play along. Scuttlebutt has it that at one point John wanted Eric to join the Beatles and replace George.
