I too swore no more pets! But as firm as I was in that resolve it was not to be! I just moved the family to our new home (our Galt's Gulch!) and lo and behold, guess what awaited us when we unloaded the rig? Yep! Way out here in the boondocks, 12 miles from civilization, stood a young healthy mouser who evidently survived the winter (47 below) by living underneath the house next to the furnace, and clearing out the mouse population! It will make a good barn cat... and already has given salve to the pain in my heart from losing my 19 year old~!
I suggest you consider getting owned by another furball as well! It will soon make your heart smile again too!
