Once the engagement was broken off, they must have done this to attack palin. They expected her to just sit and take it.

Sarah seems to respond to allegations quickly and decisively - once; that seems to be her pattern and I’m fine with it. She strikes back to let people know her side and where she stands on issues and then she doesn’t comment the same story again. I like that about her and I believe that will happen with this issue, too. She’ll comment and then move on.

I’m sure most all of you were just in love with him when he was brought out on parade as a shining example of American youth.

I wasn't, but many FReepers were. I thought it was disgraceful that he was up on the stage with the family. Why did the family think it was a good idea to parade their pregnant daughter's boyfriend on the stage with them, or even their pregnant daughter?? It made it look as if they condoned the situation with Bristol & Levi. I saw it as a slap in the face to Sarah Palin (from Bristol). It goes against all of Sarah Palin's values, and yet there she was on the stage with her pregnant unwed daughter, and her daughter's boyfriend.

But how did you know Levi was bad news? Many people around here thought he cut a fine figure at the convention.

Cut a fine figure?? As the boyfriend of the pregnant teenage daughter?? It was an embarrassment all around. Neither of them should have been on the stage.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm even on a conservative site at all.

Those who have nothing better to do than to constantly criticize and bash Sarah Palin and her family have no business posting their cowardly rants on Free Republic. They need to post their Palin hating comments on Daily Kos and DU where they belong and are welcome. This pig piling on Palin crap by so called conservatives needs to stop NOW! I bet the spoiled little brats these Palin bashers raise have their fare share of moral issues as well. Who knows what Mitt Romney's or Mike Huckabee's kids have done at the wee hours of the night when mom and dad were asleep?

Now I realize Sarah Palin is human and has made mistakes, but so has every other human being on earth including her critics who are nothing more than fussy little cowards who deserve to be treated with nothing but utter contempt.
