I think those teams that were sent to Alaska gave up after the election.
Once the engagement was broken off, they must have done this to attack palin. They expected her to just sit and take it.
I think it is dishonorable that he would go “sleaze” in order to litigate his custody case in public.
Eric Smith is the trial judge in the Johnston case? And the high price lawyer for the Johnstons is an Obama supporter? I've heard it all now.
No. But, I own my own company and have paid obscene amounts of money to PR firms. That's exactly what they would recommend.
As for knowing what he said or didn't say, it's immaterial. In politics, it's about managing news cycles - extend positive news cycles, minimize negative news cycles. Commenting with anything other than "no comment", especially with a disgruntle family member, only extends a negative news cycle.
Lastly, I didn't bring it up before, but since you did, I'll respond. Palin made a serious lapse in judgment when she allowed her teenage daughter to be interviewed on prime time, national television. Again, no competent political consultant that had national campaign experience would think that to be a good idea.
Yeah I’m trying to say this is more serious than we realize while people act like she is an American Idol contestant they don’t like.

I refuse to treat any politician who wants my vote as an idol who is above criticism. I'm an American citizen and a free man, not a subject. We fought a war to get rid of royalty in this country.
Saying that someone is making a tactical mistake by talking to the press is not "hateful". Get real.

Also, I'm really glad Sarah is fighting back. I don't see anyone coming to the defense of Sarah except Sarah! On the contrary, we have the haters saying we'll do better with a man.

I wouldn’t say that I knew Levi was “bad news,” but I was about 98% sure that the “engagement” was pure bull. (I came to that conclusion, in part, based on Levi’s myspace page. That was not a boy who was ready to marry. )

You missed the point then, as the charge wasn’t directed against you but that certain, notorious bunch that I described you before. If you don’t see yourself as part of them, then good for you. Because they ARE nothing but Palin haters.
So when people call her white trash and rather eloquently explain that this is why woman shouldn’t be allowed to vote much less hold office it isn’t hateful.

This assumes there will be no damaging headlines without a response from Palin. I disagree. The bad headlines are inevitable.
"No Comment" means Levi and his family manage the news cycle. There doesn't have to be an impetus to get a reaction from the kid. He's got a sexy story to tell about a target the drive-by's are hot to destroy. If he's not responding to Palin's camp, he's revealing juicy new details of all the nasty stuff he did to Bristol Palin under Sarah's roof. Either way, the MSM are going to run with this story.
