"Goran Suton earned the most outstanding player award at the Midwest regional after scoring 39 points and 19 rebounds in victories over Kansas and Louisville. The senior center finds motivation in Coach Tom Izzo's verbal assaults, and the dynamic has served the Spartans well."

he will not get the same easy open looks that Louisville gave them. Stanley Robinson has been playing stellar defense of late. I also believe that Uconn will easily out-rebound MSU but that it will be a good game. Uconn 70, MSU 65.

I miss my university.

I was in Ann Arbor in November for my Spartan’s victory over the blue scourge.

I heard over 25,000 showed up at MSU’s practice at Ford Field today. Should be quite the home court advantage, although the last time the Spartans played at Ford Field they got whupped by 35 pts to North Carolina (Suton did not play).

When war broke out in 1992 around Suton's hometown of Sarajevo, about 250,000 people were killed and nearly 2 million were displaced, including the Sutons. They caught the last military airplane to Belgrade.
Fortunately these lessons of freedom have never been experienced by today's home grown American athletes.....
This is your stage Mr. Suton, make the most of it!

I doubt that anyone outside of the players’ families picked the Spartans to go this far in the tourney, but then again, there have been years when they’ve been picked to go higher and they got wiped out early. I’m a little biased of course, but I think the final won’t be UConn vs NC, but rather MSU vs Villanova. :’)

Anything is possible , of course , but personally speaking I would love to see UCONN vs. UNC , with UCONN winning it all !
