Too many locales allow pit bulls to menace public thoroughfares while violating citizens' right to carry openly in those public areas. That's a bizarre and despotic policy.
The article said:
"He said he had been raking leaves and the dogs got out of their pen when his wife opened the door."
That's an example of responsible pit bull owners, who try to keep their monsters confined. They still get out. Pit bulls need to be eliminated.
