Not to hijack the thread with an ammo discussion, but is there any practical difference between 9 mm Luger and any other 9 mm ammo? In other words, could I use regular 9 mm ammo in my old Luger (if I had one) and use the 9 mm Luger ammo in my Glock (if I had one)? (I’m a .45 ACP guy, myself, so I don’t know.)

The 9 mm Glocks use 9 mm Luger as do the rest of the commonly available 9 mm handguns.

9x19, 9mm Luger and 9mm Parabellum are the same round and you can use them interchangably for any firearm chambered for those rounds. How ever there are more then those type of 9mm rounds. There is the 9mm kurtz, the 9mm Largo, the 9x19, the 9x23 and I’m sure some I’ve never heard of
