This proposed law could put the sale of tobacco under the same government regulations that governs prescribed drugs.It could eventually require cigarette smokers to obtain written permission from a medical doctor.Medical doctors will require a fee for their services.Services could be anywhere from a routine exam to a very thorough checkup that may cost hundreds of dollars for one patient and millions of dollars collectively.
This kind of legislation would make it more imperative for Congress to enact Universal Health Care.
