I don't have a "cause". I found several lists and the one I posted was referenced from another reputable site. It looked like it had the most complete and accurate data - such as this reference "German shepherd mix: One fatality victim, age 83, was apparently killed by an overly rowdy greeting. The victim was knocked down and suffered multiple broken bones, but was not bitten."
If you've got something better - why don't you share it with us instead of levying an ad hominem attack on me...?
Geez...touchy or what?! No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.
If you think that is what my post was,
instead of the friendly advice it was intended to be,
it is perhaps better that I avoid responding to you.
'Cause'= point, reason, goal of your post(s)
This part of your Clifton quote is particularly off the wall....
"They are also notorious for attacking seemingly without warning,
a tendency exacerbated by the custom of docking pit bulls' tails so that warning signals are not easily recognized"
We have discussed this statement before on FR
and no one had ever heard of
nor seen anything to remotely justify it.
There is no "custom" of docking tails.
The only "pit bull" I've seen either personally, on the web or in news reports with a docked tail, is my own...
CDC is a good place to start
