actualy YES student loans should be included.
If the degree obtained from a university is of such POOR VALUE then the university should lose out on the money. This will induce some competition for the universities to provide value and not basket weaving classes.

What makes you think it is the university losing money if a student loan defaults? It is the guarantor of the loan, usually the government (read taxpayers) or some private entity.

What in the world are you talking about? Why is the university to blame if someone has to claim bankruptcy? As a conservative you should be preaching self sufficiency - yet here you are saying someone chooses to borrow money then should voluntarily tell the bank or the government that you aren't going to repay. How does that ever hurt the school? It hurts you and me pal - we're the ones backing student loans with our tax dollars.
