Right now I use the Energy Saver feature on my dishwasher, and it does an adequate job. But if this law goes into effect in NJ, I am going to have to use the Extra Wash/Sanitary feature, which uses twice the energy and three times the water.
I’m not exactly sure what the greenies are trying to accomplish, here...

I’m not exactly sure what the greenies are trying to accomplish, here... It feeeeeeeeels good, and it demonstrates their "concern". That's all that really matters with the libs, not actual results.

I believe they are trying to reduce the phosphates that go down the drain. Perhaps washing by hand may work?
