The play is on the other end of the field, and I look up to see that she is sitting on the pitch in a semicircle with the other two defenders, and having a chat. It was hilarious.
It's also probably what this coach was telling the parents he doesn't want to see.
My sister coached a little girls softball team once and the right fielder refused to throw the ball back in “because they never let her play”... ;^)
