I detest Penn’s politics (and that of his father BTW) but I respect his acting. Also love the Stooges and enjoy Jim Carrey. I will probably see this film at some point - although I personally doubt that they can recreate the magic that was Moe, Larry and Curley.

I've purchased and have been watching the recently released collections of their film shorts. They are well-done, and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend them. So far there are five volumes that have been released. These run from 1934-1948. The last volume includes Shemp, who replaced Curly after his stroke.

Agree. Watched Milk last night with the intent to see why he won the Oscar.

Have to say he certainly deserved the nomination, although I would have preferred another winner.
