Of course not, he would have brought the rifle to the tower regardless of the law.

You are thinking of the Luby’s in Killeen, TX. I ate their regularly with my family in the months prior to the shooting; several people I knew from Church were shot.

Also, the woman you are thinking of is Dr. Suzanna Gratia Hupp.

I currently attend UT Austin for graduate school; there are a large number of graduate students with CHLs here that are hoping this law passes.
