I've really needed someone to tell me it's all in my mind, a little surprised it's coming from Horowitz who's done probably more to set my panic alarms off than anyone else! Discoverthenetworks, anyone?

Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t after you!

I think David blew it here.

As for serial lying, is there a politician that cannot be accused of that?

Yes. There is. Whatever you want to say about George W. Bush, he was not a serial liar.

As for Obama's speeches, they are hardly in the Huey Long, Louie Farrakhan, Fidel Castro vein. They are in fact eloquently and cleverly centrist and sober.

No they're not. They are boring lilts packed with utterly meaningless, if positive, generalities alluding to "hope" and "change" - - let your imagination do the rest! Any vain sneak can speechify like that if he's shameless enough.

So what's the panic? It is true that Obama has shown surprising ineptitude in his first months in office, but he's not a zero with no accomplishments as many conservatives seem to think – unless you regard beating the Clinton machine and winning the presidency as nothing.

That's it? That's Dumbo's "accomplishment"?? (And here I thought it was his vast experience as a "community organizer"...)

I like David Horowitz, but I think maybe he was going through some old boxes and stumbled across a windowpane of old college acid. There was no good reason for him to write this column. Dumbo is President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and this country has a real problem. Playing it down doesn't accomplish anything.

I have absolutely no respect for pansy-a**ed RINO’s and apologists for the actions of 0bama and his ilk.

These are the same types that will find some comfort, some silver lining under just about anyone’s boot.

It’s like some twisted fetish. It has to be. How else does one explain the willful turning of a blind eye to this onslaught?

He’s a socialist. He’s dangerous. He’s going to diminish freedom and prosperity. Socialist’s tend to do that, you know.

That’s ALL I NEED TO KNOW!

He must be stopped!

He must fail!

You apologists can just stay the hell home and moan to yourselves over and over just how frickin’ dandy everything is in Denmark—I’m resisting these people!

I love America!

I love freedom!

I want freedom for my children!

Wake up, you half-conscious, dolts!

Or is this how cowards deal with the stress, inconvenience and potential pain that a vigorous resistance might cause?

You make me sick! You’re belong on the other side. You’re dead weight!

As we move forward, Obama faces increasingly tough choices in the wars against Islamic fascism in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Gaza and Iran.

Islamic fascism? What is he talking about? Obama has never come close to entertaining any such concept.

No "derangement" required. The current star resident at 1600 Penna. Ave. only wants to figure out how to get around the Constitution, not how to protect and defend it nor the Republic.

Give that any name you want.

I'm still trying to figure out if his motivation is political (wanting to be the 'boss'), racial (getting back at whitey), or if we are just witnessing the greatest robbery in history, one which would make the sacking of Rome look like boosting a pack of Twinkies from a 7-11.

To decry the desire for understanding of his methodology for getting into office is the equivalent of trashing the people who investigate plane crashes.

We all want America to learn from this mistake, and dissecting how that happened is important to that end.

...there isn’t a conservative left who will vote Democratic in the next election (and there were many who did so in the last).

If they voted Democratic in the last election, they weren't Conservative.

Maybe they have been mugged since and seen the error of their liberal ways, but they damned sure weren't one of us.

obama didn't 'beat the clinton machine'. It was handed to him on a silver platter by Soros and by way of hundreds of millions of dollars of foreign middle eastern campaign contributions. The sources of his warchest of campaign contributions are unknown to this day. The FEC is corrupt and was paid off by middle eastern oil money long ago.

It's not unreasonable think that Hillary, being the money grubber that she is, took a dive after she was offered a large enough sum to keep her happy. All the noise she once made about paying off her campaign debts evaporated fast enough not too long after the election was over.

Horowitz is a good guy but I disagree with him on this. Obama is a dangerous anti-American Red, and I want to see his presidency destroyed, discredited, and demoralized.

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. We are all Alinskyites now.

Political egos are one of the reasons the Founders put checks and balances on executive power.

As far as this reply is to Mr. Horowitz: "Have you noticed the checks and balances Hussein wants to dismantle, so he and the dims can force their FAR LEFT agenda down our throats?"

Btw Lancey Howard, I think Horowitz found the dreaded Brown Acid. Nothing else explains it.

He is right. I heard it about Clinton from my mom, Bush from my friends and now Obama from people on the net- I do think Obama is worse than Clinton, but only cause he CAN get away with much of it. His secrecy in particular is disturbing- little to no announcement on WH website -updates infrequent when he MUST be up to things... but he is not Stalin or Lenin. He can’t be- the bigger threat is what his spending will do when we cant fund it anymore. I imagine a complete collapse of society. In that, his biggest threat is not paying attention to what is going on- financially, or not caring. We are being robbed by the banks and the Republicans dont care and neither do the Dems. It is unbelievable.
