Our work here is over now. All the Europeans have gone home now. Two British colleagues are off somewhere, don't know where.
Three of us had dinner together: The Aussie leaves tomorrow for a stay in Europe before going back home, and the Canadian and I fly home Sunday.
We had fun this evening. All the restaurants around here are "ethnic" so we went to one of the "American" restaurants to get a Finnish take on American cuisine. The sign outside was funny: the name is "Colorado," logo is Plains Indian head profile in full feather bonnet, and the text featured things Mexican. Well, Tex-Mex seems to be the real theme overall, right up to Mexican blankets as part of the decoration (a point lost on both the Aussie and Canadian). I'm not sure where traditional Coloradan Jambalaya enters the mix.
LOL!
Should I go to “Colorado” and act as “consultant” on all things Western American?
