It sounds like a pretty busy but very fun day!
We missed you here, though.
How are you feeling?
I’m feeling okay, thanks. Went to bed with Wednesday when we got home from Davidson, which is about 45 minutes away. People would come in and say, “I’m leaving!” and I’d say, “Great, have fun!” and turn over and go back to sleep. They’ll have to kick the youth group out of the church by 8:00 tomorrow, to have Mass at 9:00, so Anoreth will be home pretty early. I told Tom to be home by 10:00 a.m., no matter how much food they offerred at his friend’s house!
Bill will turn up at the church with the Boy Scouts at some point in the afternoon. DP said he got an email from one of the leaders saying their hike today was a success. Lovely day today, but it’s clouding up and the forecast says 60% chance of rain tomorrow. It’s great, compared to drought, but Bill’s going to have a heck of a time getting the back yard mowed!
We talked to a landscape worker who was doing something up the street (in my all-present-tense Spanish), and may get him to work on a path and a second patio in the back the week after next. It depends on whether he has another job that week, and whether we get the sod cleared and the paving supplies purchased in time. Good rate, $15 an hour for an experienced paving installer, with free help from Bill and Tom.
