This man :
probably saved my life. The only downside is that I have become an adbot for his book. But that's better than being dead, in my humble opinion. Allen Carr, the easy way to stop smoking. If you are looking to quit, that's the way to do it.

We are looking at something like a 900 billion dollar federal deficit in 2009, and last year some 378 billion cigarettes were sold. This suggests that we need a cigarette tax increase of about $2.38 per cigarette, or for good measure, we can just round it up to $3.00 per cigarette.

President Obama signed a law early in his administration to raise taxes from 39 cents to $1.01 per pack of cigarettes and from 19.5 cents to 50 cents per pound for chewing tobacco.
