where i live it is illegal to let dogs run loose. yes it still happens, but it is illegal, and the dogs must be liscenced so that if the dog does damage, its owner can be found.

cats are uncontrolled as the rule, owners bring them in from outside the local area and let them roam free, and they do damage to other folks property.

cats should be treated as dog as far as leash laws and owner responsibility. we also have limits on how many dogs one can own, I’d like that applied to cats also. one crazy on the street with ten cats, and they roam and piss on everybodies property. I dont care if they have 1000 inside their house, as long as the smell stays inside!

yes I like birds (but dont feed them), but they are not destroying my property, humans are not bring them in in mass.

if you want cats to be all natural, then stop feeding them (after all you said they are hunters), stop giving them medical care. Stop the feral cats groups from trespassing to feed feral colonies (infestations)

bottom line is respect your neighbors property rights, by keeping your damn cats on you own property 100% of the time

I personally keep my cats inside...but I feed strays (I speuter them & shots). God borned them, people neglected them...God wanted them to have a life. I will never play God and kill them....that would be selfish, cruel and sick. You can’t help but have stray BIRDS, raccoons, possums, cats, dogs, snakes, spiders, lizards etc...around a house. You want to know the damage raccoons have done? That’s life..... Maybe you should invest in a 10 foot concrete wall completely surrounding your property ....get rid of the trees so the birds don’t leave their diseases and continually spray your house inside and out with chemicals. You should be fine.
