I'm looking for the picture from 2005 of a Lebanese woman protesting a political assassination of a Lebanese leader by Syria. She carried a sign that quotes Mel Gibson's Bravehart that said "The can take our lives, but they can never take our freedom."
Instapundit called her a "protest babe" and the pix was popular for a few days and floated around the web. I've found old links to the photo that go back to Yahoo news, but of course they no longer post the picture because it is too old.
A Freerepublic post that might refresh you memory is http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1362435/posts
It's got a protest babe, but the wrong one.
Did anyone keep it on their hard drive or on their blog? Or can you find anyone that did?
Thanks I'd really appreciate it if you can find it and post it.
I’ve always maintained that Lebanese chicks were hot. And, apparently I’m correct.
“Lebanese chicks were hot.”
I had a buddy who married a Lebanese girl. She had 3 sisters, all as beautiful as her. Plus, I also met a lot of extended family and friends at the wedding. You are absolutely correct. They were all smokin’ hot, and great personalities to go with it.
Lebannon used to be a Christian country but I fear that won’t be the case soon. Most had left or are trying to leave. Islamic thugs have been terrifying the locals and driving them out.
Braveheart, my all-time favorite movie!
Thanks, Jenny! I had forgotten that the sign was behind her and she wasn’t carrying it. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. As soon as I posted I crashed into bed and just woke up. FR really is a great resource, thanks to people like you!
Thanks again!
