I did not serve so I cannot even imagine what it must feel like to walk away with nothing. Maybe you can help me out, I will be donating as much as I can afford to go in our collection box. What would the guys and gals most like to receive when they are so far away from home?

I can't speak for today's soldiers but for me it would have been just letters. Letters saying "Hi", thinking of you and here's whats been going on around home..........

Just anything because the worst thing in the world is showing up for mail call and not having your name being called.........
