Given that the druids, who left no written records, didn’t survive the Roman conquest circa 40 B.C., how do they know it is a “Druid” ritual?

The author should dig deeper. Last I heard tell from my Catholic and Protestant friends, bunnies and eggs might be an important part of secular “pop” culture but do not form part of any official Christian liturgy or sacrament.
