I used to volunteer to work a friends Star Trek conventions and I know Jerry pretty well. All I can say is that this does NOT surprise me as he always calls ‘em likes he sees ‘em!

I know about the video but know nothing of this Jerry Doyle guy.

Jerry Doyle was an actor. You may recall him from the Babylon 5 TV series, where he played the security chief Garibaldi. He was also married at the time to Andrea Thompson, who was also on the show.

Doyle dropped out of acting when he chose to run for his district's congressional seat as a Republican. When he lost his campaign, he said he was blacklisted by Hollywood, and so went into talk radio.

Jerry Doyle is hot. Sort of like a better-looking Bruce Willis, and he doesn’t speak in a dead monotone all the time.
