My wife and I noticed some of the state legislators walking by the protest very quickly. Some peeked in from the balcony on the 2nd and 3rd floors. What a bunch of cowards. We left the statehouse out the north enterance where all the state legislators park their high priced rides with their elite state license plates. We walked 8 blocks to the parking garage where we parked on the 11th floor got into my 1997 honda with 1500,000 miles paid the $5 fee and drove home.

On April 15th we will write a $1300 check to this state for taxes, along with $700 to the Feds.. Apparently our local taxes tripled last year. If we are considered rich - we're in big trouble!!! I'm freakin sick and tired of what our country has come to. We're trying everything we can to make our voices heard by peaceful protests and what do we get, 0bama on Letterman making fun of handicapped persons, 0bama on 60 minutes "punch drunk" or as I suspect punch high, laughing it up over our economy. What the hell is wrong with this picture? We'll go the national teaparty held in Indy on April 15th. After that if things don't get better, God help us because I don't think I'm the only one that's had enough of this freakin socialist/0bama BS!

53% of the voting population voted for socialism. That so many are surprised that we are getting the socialism promised is a bit confusing.

I share your angst but am at a loss as to the solution, other than a huge amount of civics, history and economic education.

The problem is that the needed education will not be provided in the schools we are all paying too much for.

It is up to all of us to provide the instruction at all possible opportunities

You managed to catch me on film. I'm the tall guy about in the middleof the first picture with his back to the camera.

Our local GOP State Senator, Bruce Borders from Jasonville, stopped by each booth and talked with each person. He was the only legislator I saw walking around with ID on display.
