This appeared in our local rag. Thought you might find it of interest.
It’s Orwellian Newspeak, of course. The essay at the end of Orwell’s “1984” makes everything clear.
Nobody believes me when I tell them about this bill.
If this were to be passed (which I don’t think will happen), it will soon be challenged in the Supreme Court and the Feds would lose.
Section 1. Maybe the Democrats plan on blacks becoming slaves again? It wouldn't surprise me if they did.
There is rumor that the funding for the Public Service Academy (Acorn University) will be derived from the closing of one or more existing Military Academies.
Mandatory/Required volunteering of 100 hours by all High School and Middle School students.
He’s just spreadin’ the slave trade around.
I just wonder how Obama is going to get private schools and private school teachers who don’t get a dime of federal money to participate in this.
People have to let the White House, Congress, and the Senate know via fax, e-mails, phone calls, and letters that in no way will they participate in this crap.
These low lifes who voted for this want to be elected next time around. When this travesty becomes public knowledge (and it sure isn’t now) and people know what the ramifications are for themselves and their families, they will be outraged. It will become that third rail that terrifies government officials and they will do everything they can to distance themselves from it.
I just read this to my son (13) and his response was, “Great, a black president making a bunch of white people into slaves.”
And since when are ‘volunteers’ PAID (Clintoon’s AmeriCorp)
Hey zer0.... here’s a message for ya............... MAKE ME, I dare you. MAKE MY CHILDREN..... another dare. We will see what the SCOTUS decides and that is where it will be decided.
I’ve already contacted my congressmen (Cornyn and Hutchison) and told them what I thought about this bill.
I had also contacted my HR Rep. (Culbertson). He had voted against it. He is usually spot on conservative. He is a good man.
I haven’t seen too many postings about people contacting their reps. Maybe if Glenn Beck and/or Rush got a hold of this people would burn up the phone lines again.
