HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has handed out millions of dollars in scholarships, but some local community leaders say they could do even more if they would stop spending money on items that they consider questionable. Minority leaders say they're answering the challenge from the head of the Livestock Show and Rodeo. They've laid out the expenses they question, that it's time for Rodeo leaders to explain them. After looking at the ledger for 2005 through 2006 which the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo recently provided to state Senator Mario Gallegos and local minority leaders, they highlight what they call questionable spending.

"I think that needs clarification," said Ben Mendez, who's concerned about the spending. "I think the Rodeo needs to respond."
This is currently on the Michael Berry show, AM 740.
What’s the problem? Is the spending on clean cut white and hispanic kids instead of bangers?
Quanell x is the bozo that got run out of the area when he protested the shooting of two burglars. 2007
“Quanell X demands charges against man who shot, killed two
burglars”
There is also no mention of how much these "questionable expenses are compared to the total income of the Rodeo and Show, or compared to the amount of scholarship money they give out.
Quannel has obviously been taking lessons from the Reverad Jackson. Oh and Barney Frank too.
Is the rodeo private or why did it have to open its books to politicians.
Perhaps Mr. Gallegos would like to open up his private expenses so we could see if they are questionable. If not, he needs to STFU.
The items Quanell X questioned was $2000 for a mink coat (that turned out to have been auctioned to raise more money),
$59,000 in belt buckles (that were given out as trophies to children) and $17,000 in custom saddles that are a tradition to give to leaving members. (According to the local news.)
Just another diversity witch hunt that will be strangely silent when 100% of the vendors for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo festival are hispanic. What a joke.
Quannel X is the joker who would hassle the foreign convenience store owners for selling pot and crack paraphernalia in his neighborhood while his homeboys stood right behind him where they did every day to sell their crack.

Quanell X can be seen diligently inspecting Rodeo expenditures next to a bus stop.
He and I.. we go way back.
We’re pals.
I don't doubt the former, but as to the latter.... well... if you say so.
I had to pay a traffic ticket and back then it was easier to do so in person.
Quanell was out front before an ABC news truck, pontificating.
Several thugs accompanied him, in berets and frowns.
I walked past in front of the camera and paused.
I laughed heartily at his antics.
The thugs did not like this. Quanell did not like this.
I found it highly amusing. I laughed some more.
Spoiled the whole thing for 'em.
True story.
