Why is Susan Estrich so concerned about the Governor of Alaska? Or the Governor of Louisiana? These people have their own jobs to do.
When one party controls the Presidency and both houses of Congress, it is only natural that the opposition will not have a defined leader until a the next Presidential primary season is well underway. Well pick our leader in 2012.
I am convinced that Susan Estrich and the rest of the Left wants a designated leader for Republicans so they can get busy with the demonization and personal attacks. Making arguments on the merits is a losing game for them, so they would much rather attack Rush Limbaugh’s waistline, Sarah Palin’s hairstyle or Bobby Jindal’s accent.
So it is probably just as well that we dont have a leader, for the time being. If that means that commentators, such as Susan Estrich, will have to make reasoned arguments instead of just ad-hominem attacks on our leader, I can live with that.

Bingo. They are awfully concerned about our well-being, all of a sudden, aren’t they?
