FYI Negro in Spanish is Negro, it’s also Spanish for the N word, Osgood.

Negro in Spanish means the color black. Moreno or negrito is used to indicate individuals of African descent, and neither term is necessarily pejorative. They are often used affectionately. To refer to a woman as a “morena” is a compliment.
