When I was a kid everyone trapped muskrat.

Now you cant find traps.

Andrew Zimmern ate Nutria stew on one episode of Bizarre Foods. Said it was pretty tasty.

It’s also a pretty invasive pest, from what I’ve read. Uncontrolled, these things breed quickly and do large amounts of damage to the vegetation in the area they live in.

Back in the 70’s and even the 80’s my buddies used to trap and hunt coon, fox, muskrat, coyote, rabbit and mink for fur and make good money at it. Not even worth the time to do it now.

I would like to find some youths that were interested in trapping beaver. The darn things eat ash trees like french fries around here.
