What’s your subject, super7man?
A ping list needs a subject.
Well, everything was working fine until now.
I did not need a ping list.
Sort of like the kid that never talked until his parents tried to feed him oatmeal.
Just as I suspected might happen. ;o)
I’m here. Thanks to all for the input.
Thanks to everyone for the info.
If I wanted people to ping me if they posted a certain type of story, how would I do that?
I am trying to create a way of finding good news postings.
My wife refers to them as Fluffy Bunny stories.
Yes, actually I was.
I can see you’ve been around.
The subject would be Fluffy Bunny stories.
Basically, good news or warm hearted stories that get posted.
For some reason I am getting a message that my posts are going for review. Never seen that before.
Anyway.
My subject would be Fluffy Bunny posts. Basically good news or heart warming stories.
I’ve been around for a while myself and never really got into the ping thing either. Some of us are mainly read-and-respond freepers.
If you ping me, I’ll sue you.
All right.
Any doggie or kitty ping would be a good place to start.
Joe 6-pack has one.
I enjoy watching fluffy bunny threads turn into train wrecks. Put me on it.
This is not a ping list ping.
Are you keeping the oatmeal ping list? We need to talk!
What if the fluffy bunnies are ninjas who are involved in car chases?
When you ping your list add a line that says something like: "Please ping me to any Fluffy Bunny stories." Your pingees will 'ping' you whenever they see a good news story.
Please add me to your Fluffy Bunny ping list.
Myanmar: Rice, pigs and fluffy bunnies
20 Mar 2009 17:20:53 GMT
Oxfams Jane Beesley visits Myanmar (Burma) and encounters an astonishing spirit among communities rebuilding after Cyclone Nargis tore their lives and livelihoods apart less than a year ago.
A small pink fluffy bunny has been slapping me in the face. Its neither an illusion nor a dream: three of us are sitting in the back of a taxi, and the passenger windows are covered in cartoon characters and fluffy toys. It is surreal, though, because were in the Ayeyarwady delta region of Myanmar, where Cyclone Nargis wreaked devastation last May - leaving more than 130,000 people dead or missing, and affecting around 2.4 million people.
