I haven’t skiied in about 25 years. Last time was in Bavarian Alps.

It used to be the norm for the people who crashed to be called the reckless morons (when the shoe fit), not those who skiied without incident.

Irrelevant, meant in humor, and no anger directed at you so don’t try to spin yourself into some sort of victimhood.

I don’t consider those who worked high steel at the turn of the 20th century to have been reckless morons, but I certainly would consider some of those same antics to be reckless in today’s context.

And personally, I consider today’s bull riders with helmets and body armor to be a far cry from what you probably consider the ‘reckless morons’ of the earlier years of the sport.

However I wouldn’t ever lump bull riding and skiing into the same category since millions and millions world wide cannot successfully ride bulls but millions and millions have skiied without bashing their skulls into trees.
