I don’t have to find verses, as it’s quite clear whom we’re to pray to throughout the New Testament but here’s one to prove the point.

Luk 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

No pray to saints, no pray to Mary, no prayer to the clock on the wall. Just when you pray, say OUR FATHER.

Yet, the verse does not say "When ye pray, ONLY say..."

Unless perhaps Luther added a word to that verse in your Bible too.

You DO have to find a verse. If the only authority you recognize is the Bible, then you can't say anything with authority unless it is explicitly stated in the BIble.

So do you ever pray any OTHER prayer than the Lord's prayer?
