I suppose if you asked 1 million educated people around the world if the Vatican was in Rome

The super huge majority of them would say . . .

YES!

However, with an obvious PhD in geography, dangus would rather split silly hairs.

Yes, the huge supermajority is ignorant... about most things regarding the Catholic Church.

Incidentally, the location of the Catholic Church headquarters being outside Rome is no split hair. Luther and Calvin convinced much of Europe that the Catholic Church was the whore of Babylon. Luther wrote extensively about his supposed travels in Rome. Of course, he was a damned liar (I mean that literally) because he had never even set foot there to discover the Vatican wasn’t in Rome. Yet, for some reason, even most Catholic authors presume his sincerity.
