President Obama has chosen Louisville, North Carolina, Memphis and Pittsburgh in his Final Four bracket.
The hoops fan sat down for a 15-minute interview with ESPNs Andy Katz this afternoon talking about the NCAA tournament as he filled out his bracket, and divulged his choices. The interview will run Wednesday at noon.
Three of the Presidents picks are #1 seeds Memphis being the only one with a #2 seed.

Ah crap. I have the same final four. I do have some 6 seeds in the elite 8 though.

In other news, Obama woke up, shaved, took a nice hot shower, and ate breakfast. This evening, he’ll eat dinner, watch a little TV and go to bed.

I wish this monkey would pick some senior Treasury officials so they can “solve” the banking crisis. Probably more important that basketball, O’Bama.

Actually, Bobby Knight considers Memphis the most dangerous team in the tournament, and says that Tyrek Evans may be the best player in the nation.

Priorities. Funny probably afraid to comment on anything important after his outrage yesterday over AIG doing what he authorized by his signature on the stimulus bill.

Good, now I know not to pick any of those teams, he thought there was no way US would win in Iraq, his cabinet picks were all wrong! So I not taking his advise.

I was just wondering how those Treasury Cabinet picks were coming along. Well, this is what he probably meant when he told the New York Times reporter last week "I have more than enough to do without having to worry about the financial system."
Maybe now that he's finally decided on the MM picks, he can get around to filling all those tops spots at Treasury. At the very least America can hope one of these days the President might be inclined to do carve the time from his busy schedule to do so.
That is, if more pressing priorities such as texting in his pick for Fan Favorite on Bravo TV's Top Chef don't intervene.

I was just wondering how those Treasury Cabinet picks were coming along. My first thought, too! He spends his time picking sports teams; when he still has not filled all his administrative positions. That means he has probably been following sports more than vetting candidates...or watching the DOW! Guess it is just too hard to be president all the time. (Or any of the time as in Bambi's case.)

Did Obama make the picks, or did David Axelrod do it for him.

He felt more comfortable picking BB teams because they don’t have to go through a tax screening.

He probably doesn’t miss an episode of American Idol either. That’s probably why his kids have to be in bed by 8 PM every night...
