My town is full of bats. On summer nights, you can see swarms of them. I thought they were birds the first time I noticed them.

On a related note, I haven't had a mosquito bite while in my hometown for about three years now. Bats are great Americans. Plus, what's cooler than a rat with wings zipping around using sonar?
