Dress designers and Michelle Obama have developed an obsession with toned biceps.

Who knew that when the faintest dimple on the mountain of Michelle Obama adulation manifested itself, it would be incurred by the First Lady's propensity to display her biceps?
It began, as barely perceptible dips in adulation (and concurrent spikes in envy) often do, when she appeared on the March cover of American Vogue. The accompanying gallery, in which the First Lady's fine arms were repeatedly on view, appears to have trampled on some venerable traditions - namely, that First Lady's arms should be seen but not bared.
And when they are on view, they should at least have the good grace to look slightly less buffed and slightly more reassuringly out of condition.
The unease arising from the rude health of Mrs O's muscles simmered into full-on snarkiness when The New York Times's Republican columnist David Brooks told fellow Times columnist Maureen Dowd that the time had come for Michelle to put away her arms. Was this the only powder in the Democrats' muskets, he asked.
And now comes news that Michelle is to star in a comic book.

If there is a market for terminal narcissism, I guess so. It is a spread from Details magazine, according to TMZ. (oh, the shame of admitting to looking at TMZ...)
I have no problems with Mrs. O baring her arms in the spring and summer, but I think it’s strange to do so in the winter. It’s cold. I think she tends to wear clothes that are more spring/summer clothes, and it makes it seem she is dressed inappropriately.
I didn’t care that Mrs. O’s arms were showing in her inaugural gown, but I thought it looked like a gown you would wear in the summer.

Looked up “Details” magazine - men’s fashion and gossip. I guess it’s selling autoeroticism.
I’m glad I read down a little way because both of your points are exactly what I was thinking..........a distraction from the obvious figure faults, especially. You’re so smart (LOL!).
I would just like to criticize Michelle for her beliefs and attitudes, not for her appearance.

What with her jutting jaw bone, buck teeth, enormous a$$ and thighs, she just ain’t got it and never will- no matter HOW they try to spin it.

Michelle O misinterprets the 2nd Amendment to be “the right to bare arms”.
How long and hard did you have to search to find that picture? She actually doesn’t look that bad! But then I stop and think of what she’s all about and there’s no way I can get passed it. She’s just plain nasty mean.
And as I’ve said before, if she’s wearing sleevelees dresses in the WINTER what is she going to wear in the SUMMER???? I shudder to think.....
