President's sister to speak at Sacramento State

The sister of President Barack Obama will speak at California State University, Sacramento, on Tuesday.

Maya Soetoro-Ng will talk about leadership and service at a 2 p.m. speech in the University Union Ballroom. She is a high school teacher in Hawaii and a lecturer at the University of Hawaii's College of Education. Her focus is on world history, multicultural education and nonviolence.

Soetoro-Ng was invited to campus by Boatamo Mosupyoe, director of CSUS' Cooper-Woodson College Enhancement Program.

Maya was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Before she was one, she and her mother returned to Hawaii to apply for a Certificate of Live Birth (COLB).

According to a few zealots that makes her a natural born citizen of the United States and eligible to serve as President of the United States.
