An 85-year-old Kingman man is stuck in a Catch-22.
Roy Edward Huffman, 85, was arrested in January after he stabbed a woman who was living with him in the stomach with a knife. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon per domestic violence. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of aggravated assault....During the sentencing hearing, Huffman repeatedly told the court that his cat would prove that he had not stabbed Judith Morton, the victim.
"I wasn't raised to hurt women," he said. "The cat can show it wasn't me."
Hah! I can tell by the way that Stuffy looks at me that she is probably wishing she was about twice her present size and could catch me asleep. She adores my husband, but I’m just chopped liver to her.
