Crystal McCahill is set to make an appearance in Playboy magazine as Miss May 2009.

But first, the Chicago area woman must appear before a Cook County judge in connection with a Jan. 7 DUI arrest.

The 5-foot-7 brunette, who has also appeared on the E! Playboy reality show "The Girls Next Door," had a blood-alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit when she drove a 2005 Volkswagen Passat through a red light at West Chicago Avenue and North Wood Street, according to a Chicago Police report.

McCahill, 25, told police, "I had three shots at Climax [nightclub], where I work," according to the police report. Police said McCahill "mumbled," had a "strong odor" of alcohol on her breath and had "red-bloodshot and glassy eyes."

McCahill is due in court March 19 at the Daley Center. Her attorney is expected to ask a judge to restore McCahill's driving privileges, said Assistant State's Attorney Lawrence O'Reilly.

I agree, there was a beautiful little girl who was a senior in high school. I had been a timer for her when she was growing up. Both of my daughters had known her.

Her and her date got drunk. She and he died when they hit a metal light pole on the way back to her house. A complete and total tragedy. Her grave is right beside the road that I drive on regularly.

A sentence like this would severely change a lot of people. They could also go to the scene of fatal drunk driving accidents and help clean up.
